Most commercial fishermen use gillnets to catch Bluefish. Sixtyfive percent of the allowable catch is allocated to the recreational sector.
Our Bluefish comes from near Long Island when the fish arrives during summer months after spawning in off shore waters.
The firm brown fatty flesh makes it ideal for hot smoking.
